Reiki
Gentle Healing for Mind, Body, and Spirit
At Healthru Therapy, we believe that healing happens when mind, body, and spirit are in harmony. In addition to traditional talk therapy, we’re honored to offer Reiki — a gentle, restorative energy practice that helps you reconnect with peace, clarity, and your natural ability to heal.
Reiki can be especially supportive for those experiencing stress, anxiety, trauma, or emotional fatigue. It provides space to pause, breathe, and realign — offering calm for the nervous system and nourishment for the soul.
What Is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese healing technique that channels universal life energy to support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
The word combines rei (universal life) and ki (energy), reflecting the belief that life-force energy flows through all living beings. During a Reiki session, the practitioner uses light touch or places their hands just above the body to help balance and restore this energy.
Clients often describe sensations of warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation — and leave feeling grounded, lighter, and renewed.
How Reiki Can Support You
Reiki is a nurturing addition to therapy or a stand-alone practice for relaxation and healing. Many clients find Reiki helpful for:
Reducing stress and tension
Calming anxiety and promoting emotional release
Supporting recovery from grief or trauma
Improving sleep and energy flow
Enhancing mindfulness and inner connection
Reiki is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment, but it can beautifully complement other forms of care.
What to Expect
Your Reiki session takes place in a peaceful, welcoming space designed to help you relax and let go. You’ll remain fully clothed and will lie down while your practitioner gently places their hands in specific positions around your body.
Each session lasts about 45–60 minutes and includes time for grounding and reflection afterward. Many clients report feeling calm, refreshed, and emotionally lighter following their session.
