Good Faith Estimate and No Surprise Billing
In accordance with the No Surprises Act, effective January 1, 2022, Healthru Therapy wants to ensure that all patients are aware they can receive a “Good Faith Estimate” to help them estimate the expected charges they may be billed for receiving healthcare services performed by Healthru Therapy. This applies to any patients who are out-of-network, uninsured, or who are insured but do not plan to use their insurance benefits to pay for health care services.
You can request a GFE before scheduling or at any time during treatment.
Your GFE will include the expected charges for services reasonably anticipated as part of your therapy.
Estimated Costs for Services at Healthru Therapy
Below are the standard rates for services offered:
Intake Assessment (90791): $250
Psychotherapy Session: $175
Reiki Session: $150
No-Show / Late Cancellation Fee: $75
Fees apply to each session provided unless otherwise noted.
Example of Potential Yearly Costs
Actual costs vary based on clinical needs and client choice. These examples illustrate typical ranges:
Weekly psychotherapy for 12 months (52 sessions) 52 × $175 = $9,100 total
Bi-weekly psychotherapy for 12 months (26 sessions) 26 × $175 = $4,550 total
Monthly Reiki for 12 months (12 sessions) 12 × $150 = $1,800 total
Your personalized GFE will reflect the services you intend to engage in and the anticipated frequency based on clinical recommendations.
If You Receive a Bill Higher Than Your Estimate
If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you may dispute the charge.
